ADULT CONVERSATIONAL PROGRAM
Our Adult classes are designated to teach conversational Spanish that focuses on your community, work, and travel needs; and help you become a confident speaker. Each class is focused seventy-five percent on conversation and twenty-five percent on grammar. In each course students will also learn about Latin American traditions, etiquette and history.

Our main goal is to help students quickly learn useful vocabulary that they can use at work, community and travel needs. In addition, help our students gain speaking, listening and writing skills; and optimize conversation skills based on individualized goals, interests, and needs.

GROUP IN-PERSON CLASSES -Our classes are intended for participants over the age of 17, although some exceptions can be made. In each class and level students work on their conversation, listening comprehension, reading, and writing skills. The program is divided into 14 courses (Basic Spanish I(a-b), II(a-b), III(a-b), IV(a-d), Intermediate Spanish I(a-d), Intermediate II (a-d). Each course consists of 10-week sessions(SUMMER TIME-8 Week session) in a small class ratio setting of 8 students per 1 teacher. ****Mid Intermediate to Advanced Spanish (Private Tutoring In-Person & Online Available)****
GROUP CLASS STRUCTURE
The classroom structure of the adult Spanish language program is based on conversation skills. Classes are IN-PERSON with OPTIONAL online conversation LABS and in the SUMMER we will meet once a week for 10 weeks for 1.5 hours and each student will have the OPTION of taking 10 additional 1:1 conversational labs via live online with a private instructor . Each 10 week session will place a strong focus on: expressive communication, language structure, vocabulary, and comprehension.

Students are highly encouraged to bring their own study materials (textbook, pen, pencil, etc.)

COST (GROUP LESSON)
Each course cost is $445-$585 (10 weeks), 4 Sessions per year (October-September). We offer a $30 Early Bird Discount. Also, we ask students to purchase one textbook that will be use for the 3 levels (basic-intermediate.)

BOOK
The cost of the book is $70 and the .The E-book is available and FREE.

Our highly dynamic, qualified and experienced teachers that are certified with Masters Degrees in Spanish Literature and Spanish Linguistics. Our teachers have multi-cultural experience abroad and locally. They excel at fostering positive learning environments for adult learners with over 20 years of experience.

PLACEMENT TEST
If you are not sure which course is right for you, we offer a placement test. The test will be emailed you and once you complete it return it to us via email for one of our teachers to correct it and make the appropriate recommendation.

PRIVATE 1:1 LIVE ONLINE CLASSES:

Our private live online classes are for students who are looking for
flexible hours Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM-8PM and Saturday
8:00 AM-12 PM. Our 45-minute conversation online classes focus
completely on vocabulary acquisition, pronunciation, and various
topics that each each student wishes to focus on
(education, medical, etc.)

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
​
BASIC I (a-b)
This is a 20-week course for students, who have little or no prior knowledge of Spanish. Basic I emphasizes on basic conversation in the present and everyday vocabulary. Themes include: places, countries, work, people, greetings, likes and dislikes, describing yourself, numbers, and telling time. Grammar topics will include present tense verbs, word order, interrogatives, subject pronouns, negations, pronunciation, singular indefinite form nouns and introduction to conjugations of simple verbs in the present tense (i.e. ser, estar, tener, haber, hacer).
BASIC II (a-b)
This is a 20-week course for students who have the knowledge of the concepts learned in course Basic I or for who have experience learning the Spanish language. Themes include a continuation of counting and time, address, phone numbers, age, daily shopping, clothes, colors, food and the home. Grammatically, we focus on the present regular tense, the verb ser and conjugation of regular verbs in the present indicative (i.e. ar, er, ir).
BASIC III (a-b)
This is a 20-week course for students, who have the knowledge of the concepts learned in Basic II. Basic III concentrates on simple dialogues and engaging in spontaneous conversations. Themes include weather, geography, seasons and food. Grammatically, we focus on more comprehensive study of conjugations, the verbs ser vs. estar and the verbs (i.e. gustar, tener, hacer).
BASIC IV (a-d)
This is a 40-week course is for students who have already learned the basic foundations in beginning courses and ready for further practice with an interest in travel. This conversation class focuses on the essential words and phrases needed for travel abroad. Themes include vacation, airport, travel, restaurants and transportation. Grammatically, we will review greetings and introductions and will focus intensely on the verbs: querer, tener, haber, and gustar. Thus, allowing students to form more complex sentences to express needs, wants, abilities and more.
INTERMEDIATE I (a-d)
This is a 40-week course is for students who have completed the Basic level or 1 year of college Spanish. This conversation class will focus on the festive days, free time and health. Grammatically, we will focus on describing and comparing festive days, hobbies, sports, and your health. Also, the reflective verbs, past tense verbs, adjectives, preterit regular verbs, the verb gustar, present perfect and imperfect irregular tense allowing students to form more complex sentences to express needs, wants, abilities and vocabulary to visit a doctor.

INTERMEDIATE II
This is a private course via ONLINE or IN-PERSON is for students who have completed the Low Intermediate level or 2 years of college Spanish. This conversation class will focus on the art, culture and the pressures of modern life. Grammatically, we will focus on describing art, culture, and expressing unplanned or unexpected events that cause pressure in our lives. Also, adverbs, ordinal numbers, para versus por and imperfect preterit allowing students to use vocabulary to describe incidents, occurrences and things that put pressure in our everyday life.
INTERMEDIATE III
This is a private course via ONLINE or IN-PERSON is for students who have completed the Mid Intermediate level or 2 years of college Spanish. This conversation class will focus on quality of life and nature. Grammatically, we will focus on discussing the things that make our lives comfortable in our community, work and home and on the verbs: ser, estar, haber and irregular/regular verbs allowing students to use vocabulary to describe their quality of life in this modern world.
INTERMEDIATE IV
This is a private course via ONLINE or IN-PERSON is for students who have completed Intermediate level III or 3 years of college Spanish. This conversation class will focus on work, careers, finances, the news and future. Grammatically, we will focus on discussing about the things that are related to work, possessive pronouns, future verb forms, past subjunctive and conditional verb forms allowing students to use vocabulary to describe their jobs, news, and the future.
ADVANCED (A-D)
This is a private course via ONLINE or IN-PERSON is for students who have completed Intermediate level or 4 years of college Spanish. This conversation class will concentrate on the Hispanic family, describing people and things, travel through Latin America, the environment, human rights/health and work/social life, Grammatically, we will concentrate on the verb to be—estar, adverbial clauses, perfect preterit, subjunctive indicative, and reflexive verbs, subjunctive in noun clauses, placement of pronouns, and the nosotros commands, verbs on future tense, adverbial clauses, perfect preterit, subjunctive indicative, present perfect tense, present perfect subjunctive, and conditional perfect.
